Donn Hatcher is the former chairman, owner and senior partner of Interaction Associates, an International consulting and training firm. He led and helped build the organization over a seventeen year time period. There, he and his colleagues pioneered the concept of facilitation, which has now become a widely accepted role for change management and collaboration throughout most Fortune 500 companies. He specializes in consulting and the training of leaders in making collaborative change. The skills of collaboration are recognized as foundational building blocks for leading successful change efforts.

He spent eight years in Europe building the infrastructure for the company. Part of the work included assisting General Electric with the leadership development and integration of many of their hundreds of acquisitions. Donn works with “C-level” executives to build partnerships and make the changes needed; and with GE, to produce the results required and become part of global GE.

Donn has consulted with multiple businesses/organizations in most industry sectors in many countries; a few examples include: GE, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, St. Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center, DuPont, Dow, Shell, BP, PG&E, Bechtel, Harvard, Duke, PwC, Pepsi, BHP, Pechiney, HP, Oracle, NEC, AT&T, Sprint, UT, Stentor, Telus/AGT, Mercedes-Benz, US Forest Service, Contra Costa County, The National Trust, The United Nations, The Carter Center.

Previously, Donn ran two other international firms. Each company specialized in the manufacture of equipment that make-up the heart (hot sections) of refineries and petrochemical plants.

Donn has spoken at numerous conferences on various leadership topics. He received a combined degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
